Mastering Client Creation: Building an Aligned Business Engine

Let’s be real for a moment, most of us outliers aren’t following anyone’s path. We’re inventing it as we go. And that means the usual “business playbooks” don’t always fit.

So instead of giving you theory, I want to bring you into the experience with me because that’s where the real transformation happens.

Start With What’s Real (Not What’s Perfect)

Here’s the truth: half the time, I’m building things in real time. No one handed me a manual. And if you’re anything like me, you’re figuring it out as you move, too.

That’s not a problem. That’s your advantage.

What I want you to do is simple:

  • Build your systems while you’re serving people.
  • Embrace the mess, it’s part of the magic.
  • Let folks witness your process; invite them into the creation with you.

Your path doesn’t need polish. It needs presence.

Your Client Creation Journey (the human-friendly version)

I walked Brittni through this step by step, and you can follow the same approach. Think of it as building your own business engine, one that feels aligned and honest.

1. Connection: The First Spark

Every client relationship begins with a moment of connection.
I want you to actually notice that moment.

Track:

  • When you connected
  • Where they came from
  • What pulled them toward you

Not numbers. Human energy.

2. Invite Them Into an Experience

Instead of trying to “sell,” give people a place to experience you.
For Brittni, that’s her Transformation Tables: intimate, powerful group sessions.

You can do something similar.

Track:

  • Who you invited
  • Who scheduled
  • Who showed up
  • What shifted for them

Let the experience speak for you.

3. Follow Up Personally

After the group experience, have a 1:1 conversation.
Not a pitch. A connection.

Track:

  • Conversation date
  • Whether it happened
  • What you uncovered together

This is where alignment reveals itself.


4. Proposals: Co-Create the Next Step

A proposal isn’t a script—it’s a collaboration.

Track:

  • What you offered
  • Investment discussed
  • Payment received or deferred
  • Their decision

5. Review the Data: Without Making it Mean Anything About You

Let’s remove the drama from data. Data is feedback, not judgment.

Look for:

  • Where people pause
  • Where momentum builds
  • How long each step actually takes

Let the numbers teach you, not define you.

Your Simple, Aligned Tracking System

You don’t need complexity. Start here:

  1. Connection date + source
  2. Invite sent + schedule + attendance
  3. Follow-up call details
  4. Proposal + details
  5. Yes/no + terms
  6. Insights

That’s enough to create real clarity.

Let This System Grow With You

Business isn’t a machine; it’s a living thing.
So let your system evolve.

Add structure as you need it. Remove what drains you.
Build on purpose, not for perfection.

The Outlier Advantage

You’re not meant to follow someone else’s formula.
You’re meant to build the one that fits you.

So remember:

  • Stay in the experience.
  • Track what matters.
  • Let data guide you, not judge you.
  • Take imperfect action again and again.
